Bossprefs wifi off 3.0

Reboot the iPhone and you should be ok. I had debugging stuff in there that I forgot to remove. None of the toggles support invoke hold action yet anyway so there is no need to hold them. They are now included in the core sbsettings.

The font on 3. Will fix in next version. Do not report that the more app crashes. To properly make it work on 3. It will be installed on a real 3. Are you an SBSettings themer? Then this news is for you! I have finished the SBSettings theme kit and posted it in the guides section here. The guide will explain what each element is that can be themed, where the theme folders are expected to go, and provides some screenshots.

Note that regular respring does not do this. Properly signed the app removing the dependency on springbridge to launch apps off the dock. If you updated categories to 2. Updates for 2. This allows you to neuter apple's app kill switch. Fixed bug with custom services that would prevent some from being detected running. Calling bundles by name to help in theming the dock icons. The 4 th line is the optional path to the icon to display.

The icon should be a 20 x 20 png file. For the next example, lets take a look at the safari download plug-in. This is a bit tricky. The plug-in is enabled ON when some files are copied into place and is disabled OFF when those files are deleted.

The toggle just moves those files to another folder to disable the plug-in and moves them back to enable it. Here is the SafariDL file from the services folder:. Notice that the first two lines are scripts. This is the contents of the SafariDLStart. Also, we are using the existence of LCDownloader to determine if the plug-in is enabled or disabled.

What is Jailbreaking? What is iOS? What is iCloud? What is WiFi? We are also planning to add some other cool features. Tags: bossprefs , ipodtouchmaster , SBSettings. It would be great also if it would be possible to add as addons the thing that is on Nokias known as profiles — you would click on an icon and you would put the phone on mute or on only vibrator.

Do you think it would be possible to do this thing? Loved the old app, just swipe the status bar and there it was, as fast as quickgold… just wish it was more stable. Hopefully your iteration will be. Looking forward to it. I will beta test when availible. There were a few issues I experienced: 1 It would just cause the springboard to freeze sometimes when you used it. I used to have to memorize where the respring springboard button was because that was the only way to get control of your springboard back, other than rebooting.

Even though it caused me to restore once or twice I still loved using it. LOL What was neat, was that this app was even accessible through the lock screen. So I could toggle my wifi, bluetooth and everything else straight from the lockscreen just by swiping the status bar. I hope you can pull this off too. This isnt really related to this app, but is related to the fact that this app can function on top of other apps that are running, like your example of toggling 3G while in safari.

Ive been trying to get someone to pick up that project forever but no one will touch it or even comment on weather or not it is possible. So let me run it by you and set up a scenario. Lets say your in safari surfing the net, reading your blog and you get a text message… here is what happens 1 pop-up appears with the message and 2 options… you can either CLOSE or REPLY. A Close: The pop-up disappears and you go on surfing safari. B Reply: the pop-up disappears B2 safari closes B3 native sms app launches B4 you type in your reply and send B5 you close the sms app B6 you launch the safari app back up and now the website or blog has to reload, which is causing the data to redownload the webpage, causing loss of time and battery power.

This is already exhausting enough but usually one reply leads to another and you repeat this cycle over and over again, till you either dont want to reply or you dont want to surf the net anymore. Is there a way you can make an SMS app that is capable of running on top of other apps like your new bossprefs is going to do? That way when your surfing in safari and you get a pop-up with your text message you can read it and hit the CLOSE button, or you can just hit REPLY and reply to it right there on top of safari I guess within a text box inside the popup?

Is this possible, and is this a project you would be interested in picking up? This would be as amazing as quickgold in my opinion.

If you have Backgrounder then you should close the message popup, then hold the home button to enable backgrounding and get to the springboard. Safari already stays loaded. The problem is that iPhone does not have enough system memory to do what you want. The same thing happens if you load a new tab in mobile safari and return to the previous one. I am experiencing something similar to 1 above and that is part of the reason that it is not yet released for beta testing.

Also, the nature of how SSH toggle has to work is making it take a long time in some cases to use. It may have to do with the amount of memory in use. You can call it up while locked also.

To reply within a text box within the popup that delievers the SMS. Basically a macro to milk the most out of the battery you have remaining — 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Location Services, Auto Brightness, as well as turn brightness to its lowest setting. I always forget to turn off GPS after I get out of the car….

An indication of any apps that are currently being backgrounded would also be very useful. Or maybe even a way to select which apps should be backgrounded i. And every time I always forget to turn it on and have to close, toggle, and reopen. One thing I always wanted in boss prefs which if I knew which files I needed, I probably could set it up myself was to turn off GPS too.

Plus, in 2.
