I think my problems were caused by another computer of mine that already had an established tunnel. I must have left it on being it was the XP client that can connect. IF that was the case then my router does not seem to handle more than one VPN tunnel. I should have tried multiple routers to begin with but it seemed like a simple problem. I suggest to the OP that he try a different router. Well if the same username is in use I know on the RV it will refuse the connection and you have to connect using a different user.
We have this issue with customers and have to tell them to try a different user name since the RV and RV only support 5 users.
Now that you point out the obvious, I really cannot blame my router. Search In. Share More sharing options Shut down and restart the computer for this option to take effect.
