Rea ap us history 7th edition

New York: Norton, , is one of the best college-level text. I second the suggestion of Tindall and Shi. It is perhaps one of the most through and intelligently written US history texts. It devotes an entire chapter twenty plus pages to the Reagan years, which is far beyond comprable texts. Unfortunately, liberal bias is evident in key events. Also, this lacks an index but does contain a glossary.

I took the test last year and I remember only one multiple choice question about Reagan and I think maybe one about Clinton's impeachment. It just doesn't concentrate on much after Nixon's presidency. FernoKlump Look at this petition! It is easily one of the best and most readable US history texts-- Mantle , 3 August EDT While I would recommend reading some of it as an example of extreme left-wing populist propaganda, I don't think it would prepare a student for the tests in question.

The recommendation is that is well-organized and easy to read. I have not examined it. Does anyone else know? It has no reviews on amazon. Shelves: I found the six practice exams to be the most helpful.

An innovative, accessible new design and new digital tools engage today's students. Inspired by the look of contemporary news journals, the brand-new design of America's History will appeal to today's students.

Created in collaboration with the authors and featuring strong headings, vibrant colors and motifs, and striking part-opening spreads with dramatic contemporaneous images, this inventive design will keep your students engaged and focused. I especially like the 'connections' sections which really help students make connections from chapter to chapter and theme to theme.
